Following the cancellation of the January Linlithgow Winter Time Trial, the February event took place on 8 February 2026.
Whilst it was cold the light winds made for some good racing with most paddlers beating or being very near to their handicap.
It is also noteworthy that Tim Dowden got within 42 seconds of the Male K1 record set by Colin McMorrin some 10 years ago – all to play for in the next event.
