Affiliating your club with Paddle Scotland shows that your club is committed to the delivery of high-quality paddlesport activity and is part of the wider network of support in Scotland.
Affiliating your club with Paddle Scotland also opens up avenues of development support from our dedicated staff team.
To affiliate, you’ll need to have:
- appropriate policies in place
- appropriate safeguarding processes
- a club committee

Club Associates
Any member of your club who is not a Paddle Scotland Full, Junior or Recreational member is classed as a Club Associate member. Associate members are only insured for club activity.
It is the responsibility of the Club Secretary to maintain the club membership list, including adding Club Associate membership for those who require it.
Club Affiliation Fees
Club Affiliation fees are calculated based on the number of Club Associates in your club. Club Associates are defined above. The total number of Full, Junior and Recreational members in your club does not have bearing on your affiliation fees.
