The role provides leadership across strategy development and delivery, organisational performance, governance, planning, communications and operational management. Working alongside other members of the Senior Leadership Team, Board and the wider staff team, Davina will help shape the future direction of Paddle Scotland and support the organisation in delivering sustainable growth and impact across the sport.

Davina brings extensive experience in executive leadership, organisational transformation and strategic communications. Throughout her career she has worked with CEOs, Boards and senior leadership teams to develop and implement strategy, lead complex change programmes, strengthen governance and build high performing, values-led organisations. Her background spans operational leadership, communications, marketing, audience development and stakeholder engagement, with a particular focus on ensuring organisations remain responsive to their audiences so they can deliver their mission effectively. 

A strong advocate for member-led organisations, Davina is passionate about using insight, engagement and collaboration to inform decision making. She brings a track record of building trusted relationships with staff, volunteers, partners and stakeholders, and of helping organisations translate ambitious strategic goals into practical and measurable outcomes.

Outside work, Davina is a keen cyclist and enthusiastic participant in sport and the outdoors. Having built her career primarily within the charity and public sectors, she is excited to bring her experience to Scottish sport and contribute to the continued growth and development of paddlesport across the country.

Paddle Scotland has a strong reputation, ambitious plans and a highly engaged membership, and I'm looking forward to working with members, clubs, volunteers, the Board and staff team to help shape the next stage of the organisation's development."
