Welcome to Mabel, our new Operations Administrator
4 December 2025

We are delighted to welcome Mabel Duncan to the team this week in the new role of Operations Administrator.

Mabel will provide much-needed support to our members and the wider community as the first point of contact for general enquiries, improving our responsiveness both by email and phone.

Prior to joining the organisation, Mabel worked as an executive assistant at the NSPCC. She brings with her experience across a variety of areas, from communications support to project development, which she is excited to apply in her new role as our Operations Administrator.

Although relatively new to paddlesport, she enjoys getting out and about, whether on her SUP with her son, on two wheels or on foot.

Mabel says: "As I begin my role as Operations Administrator, I am excited to bring my knowledge and skills to an organisation that champions paddlesport across Scotland. I am committed to supporting the team to deliver their operational goals in a high-quality, engaging and safe manner, and cannot wait to get going! I am excited to get to know the team, the board and our members, to strengthen the services we provide and make your experience with us as seamless as possible."

Please join us in welcoming Mabel, and though she has already proved to be a quick learner, be patient as she gets up to speed with some of the complexities of our systems.
