The South West Paddle Fest will return for the second year on Saturday 16 August 2025 at the picturesque Largs Pencil.

Under the banner of "Come and Try, Learn and Develop," the South West Paddle Fest aims to introduce new paddlers to the joys of paddling while emphasising safe practice on the water. Participants can choose from a variety of Come and Try sessions, where they can get hands-on experience with different paddling disciplines, including sea kayaking, racing kayak or stand-up paddleboarding.

Local clubs and expert instructors will be on hand throughout the day to guide attendees, ensuring a safe and educational experience. These sessions are designed not only to teach the basics to newcomers but also to help experienced paddlers enhance their skills and explore new techniques.

Further details on the sessions on offer and how to book will follow in due course - follow our Facebook page for further information!
