Paddle Scotland Seeks New Swimmer Safety and Rescue Tutors

We are recruiting individuals passionate about water safety to become Swimmer Safety and Rescue Tutors. This role involves delivering the Swimmer Safety and Rescue course, which equips paddlers with the skills and knowledge to provide essential safety cover for swimmers in open water environments. These tutors play a vital role in ensuring the safety and success of open water swimming events across Scotland. 


Ideal candidates will have experience providing safety cover for swimmers in open water environments and possess strong coaching and communication skills. Applications are open from April 1st to 22nd, 2025. 


We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold a relevant BCAB coaching qualification.
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience of the module content.
  • Have a passion for teaching and a desire to share their knowledge with others.

The application window is open from 1st - 22nd April (0900). Successful applicants will be invited to an orientation event where you'll receive guidance and support from experienced trainers (date tbc).
