Calling all passionate sea kayakers!

Are you an experienced sea kayaker (and qualified Sea Kayak Coach) with a knack for teaching and a commitment to safety? If so, we invite you to become a Sea Kayak Safety and Rescue Tutor. In this rewarding role, you'll empower paddlers with essential safety and rescue skills, enabling them to navigate the challenges of the sea with confidence. 


What does a Sea Kayak Safety and Rescue Tutor do?

As a tutor, you'll conduct the BCAB Sea Kayak Safety and Rescue Course, equipping participants with the knowledge and techniques to handle common on-the-water problems in various sea conditions. You'll also play a vital role in fostering a safety-conscious kayaking community by supporting the ongoing development of paddlers, instructors, and coaches.

How do I become a Sea Kayak Safety and Rescue Tutor?

The application window is open from 1st - 22nd April (0900). Successful applicants will be invited to an orientation event where you'll receive comprehensive guidance and support from experienced trainers
