Paddle UK Volunteer Feedback Project
21 November 2025

Please share your thoughts in Paddle UK's Volunteer Feedback Survey before the end of December.

This Paddle UK-led project's aim is to gather feedback from volunteers across the UK's paddling community about their volunteering experience, which will then be used to develop a comprehensive Volunteer Plan to provide the best possible support for volunteers going forwards.

What is the project aiming to do?

You might spend your time on the water, on land, or online, at a local, national, or international level.

You might give an hour or hundreds, work on your own or lead a team. However and wherever you help, we want your feedback!

What’s happening as part of the project?

We're undertaking a full-scale UK-wide audit to understand who volunteers are, what you do, why you get involved, and what works well or needs improving.

As part of the Data Collection stage, from now until early January 2026, we’ll be actively asking for your feedback through various channels, including an online survey, individual and group chats, and focus groups.

After this, we will move into data analysis and develop a Volunteer Plan (scheduled for completion mid-2026).

How can I get involved?

Your voice matters, and we want to make it easy for you to provide feedback in a way that suits you best.

Many of our feedback options are based on three key questions, so it's worth considering these as you decide how to take part.
