Please be advised that essential river restoration works will be taking place on the River Dee from 27 July to 30 September 2026.

The Impact Area:
Works will be carried out within the river and on the left (north) bank, specifically between the confluence with the Quoich Water and the village of Braemar.
What to Expect:
- Increased Activity: Expect machinery and personnel operating in and around the river.
- Temporary Restrictions: There will be temporary restrictions to sections of the river, largely concentrated near the left (north) bank.
- Safety First: Please keep a close eye out for on-site signage, barriers, and instructions from site personnel. Your safety and the safety of the workers are the priority.
Notices regarding these works will be posted at the main put-in sites in the area, including Victoria Bridge and Inverey Hostel. Please take a moment to check these signs before you put on the water.
