How do you enter a Paddle Scotland event as an external participant?
Both national and international paddlers are very welcome to take part in Paddle Scotland events. To enter, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Create a Free Account
Please create a free account at sca.justgo.com by entering your details.
When completing the registration form, make sure you select “Outside Scotland” as your local authority.
Please note: You do not need to purchase a Paddle Scotland membership in order to enter the event.
Step 2: Book Your Event
Once your account has been created, log in and visit the event booking page.
You can use our
Event Finder. From there you will be able to complete your purchase of the relevant event ticket(s).
Insurance Information
Please note that individual external paddlers are not covered under Paddle Scotland Liability Insurance when taking part in events.
Participants should ensure that they have appropriate insurance cover, either:
- Through their own National Governing Body, or
- Via individual personal insurance.
Day Membership Refund
A £5 Day Membership fee is charged to non-members entering Open events. This fee will be refunded if you can provide proof of:
- Membership with another National Governing Body, or
- Valid individual insurance cover.
