Another new award, this celebrates Paddle Scotland-affiliated centres, practitioners or delivery partners who have gone above and beyond over the course of the last year.

Emy McLeod is nominated for her inspirational coaching, her commitment to best practice, and for the vast amount of time she dedicates to teaching and guiding people on the water, particularly on the River Spey.

Liam Watson is nominated for his instrumental role in building the paddlesport partnership between scouting and Scout Scotland, and for increasing the standard of provision by delivering professional qualifications across the youth work sector.

Galloway Activity Centre is nominated for its outstanding support for young people, having launched with the Loch Ken Trust the Dumfries & Galloway Youth Water Safety Awareness Programme which has provided vital safety training to over 425 children in the local community.
