2024 AGM Report

Paddle Scotland’s 2024 AGM was held over Zoom last night and chaired by the Interim Chair of the Board, Allan McKay.

Paddle Scotland directors and staff were in attendance alongside 51 voting members. A further 359 members had submitted votes in advance by proxy. 


Voting on six ordinary resolutions took place with all voting managed externally by Marcin Zdrojewsk from the Scottish Sports Association.


Results are as follows: 


  1. To approve the minutes of the 2023 AGM - PASSED with 100% in favour
  2. To approve the minutes of the GM held on 27 November 2024 - PASSED with 100% in favour
  3. To receive the Company’s annual report for the year ended 31 March 2024 - PASSED with 98.1% in favour 
  4. To receive the Company’s accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024 - PASSED with 96.6% in favour 
  5. To vote on the election of Stewart Pitt as President - PASSED with 63.7% in favour 
  6. To vote on the election of four Elected Directors - new directors voted in: Alison Byers, Ken Nicol, Niamh Lee, Mark Mulrain
