Paddlesport Providers, Coaches and Centres Lockdown Virtual meet – 11th May 2020
On 11th May, the Scottish Canoe Association hosted their second online Paddlesport Providers, Coaches and Centres Lockdown Virtual meet. 45 providers of paddlesport activity joined together as a community to share ideas and thoughts about the current Covid-19 situation. Invested in supporting each other and in getting our sector back up and running, responsibly and in a unified fashion.
It was a diverse group of people with representation at all levels across the sector, including Tourism, Outdoor Learning/Education, Coach/Leader Education, HE/FE, Charitable Trusts, Trade, Scouts, and a number of Freelance coaches, leaders and guide who work across all of these sectors. The group representing a significant proportion of providers across Scotland.
