Entries now open for the Hooley 5K

Aug 09, 2022

Discounted entry open now for the Hooley 5K and British Championships for 2022 & Evening Celebration event

The Hooley 5K is returning to Strathclyde on the 22nd of October for an exciting day of racing in individual and crew-boats. Early bird entry fees are £10 for 1 race and £20 for 2 or more races. So if you want to race K1, K2 and K4 then it's three races for the price of two.

There will be K4/C4's available and we will be facilitating scratch crews to be formed so if you want to race in these events but don't have enough partners then just let us know when you buy your entry ticket and we will help put crews together.

As well as a full day of racing we want to take the celebration of paddlesport off the water and will be holding a Celebration Evening and Ceildh at the Hilton Hotel Strathclyde Park immediately following the conclusion of racing. This will involve the Hooley 5K prize-giving and presentation of the SRC perpetual trophies to their 2022 recipients. Food will be available and to cap it all there will be a traditional Scottish Ceilidh to end the evening celebrations.

Tickets are available to competitors and supporters from the main entry link here.
